So today I had my first personal weigh in....15st 6lbs. Its so hard to write it down for the world to see but I think its the only way to get my rather large arse in gear.
So the diet plan I have chosen is kind of a multi angle approach. For a start I am going back to a full on Weight watchers onslought (2 years ago I lost 4 stone this way quite quickly but I am guessing the minor laxitive addiction helped speed things up. WW def does work though if you stick to it!) I am also taking the new diet drug on the market "alli". This blocks one quarter of the fat that you eat. In theory this should help speed things up a bit. It also helps because if you eat a large amount of fat in one meal and take one of these tablets you have the most horrific side effects one can possibly imagine (I wont go into them now) so the promise of vile things happening to your body helps you to stick to the maximum of 15 grams of fat per meal! The final plan is to try and do at least one small bit of exercise every day. At the moment it wont be much because I have a lot of pain in my ankles due to my arthritis but I promise to walk the dog for 20 minutes every day this week!! There I have said it to you all and now i must fulfil my promise! New one next week!
So thats It. Obviously the final stage of the plan is to update my blog with my highs and lows and photo's of my progress, good meals i have tried and no doubt some very bad ones, new ideas and tips I discover along the way and what I have eaten every day. Hopefully this will shame me into losing weight and maybe help some others do the same!!!!
